Diverse cute area but if you like to shop, skip it.

Great area for someone who wants to explore Staten Island after a trip on the the ferry since it is right where the terminal is. The ballpark is a fun place to watch a baseball game especially with the Statue of Liberty and downtown Manhattan in the background. The Staten Island Museum is also in that neighborhood and there is a tapas bar called Besos which is worth checking out.
